While The University of Akron has been celebrating its sesquicentennial, UA has also been celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Honors Program and the 15th anniversary of our Honors College. The College Credit Plus Honors Academy is for high school juniors and seniors to get an even bigger head start to their college careers.
The College Credit Plus program was created by the Ohio Legislature to allow students in grades 7-12 to enroll in a college or university to earn both college credit and credit for their classes, tuition free.
By taking different Honors Colloquia, ELLIE PLASTER, has had more opportunities to explore things in which she's interested in, for example how neuroscience connects to art.
